Mini-Review: Edirol MA-15DBK
I bought a pair of these speakers for my desk a couple of months ago and have been very happy with them.
The Good
- Good sound :)
- Solid construction
- Built-in amplifier
- Both analog and digital (SPDIF, coaxial) input
- …that can be mixed
- Headphone jack on front
- Bass and treble equalizer knobs on front
- Decent design
The Bad
- Bass enhancer (worthless feature, can luckily be turned off)
- You can’t play very loud with them, get bigger speakers for that (preferably from Larsen)
- On low volumes, the right speaker plays louder
- There’s an audible low-volume low-frequency static noise
